MYALL CREEK COPPER (SER 100%, South Australia)
The Myall Creek copper project is located to the west coast of the Spencer Gulf and covers 536km² of the highly prospective Olympic Copper Gold Province of the eastern Gawler Craton.
SER is targeting both Iron Oxide Copper Gold (IOCG) mineralisation in the Proterozoic basement and sediment-hosted mineralisation in the overlying sediments. The key IOCG host rock, the Hiltaba Granite, is present within the project area and the overlying sediments include a 15km zone with anomalous copper in historic drilling.
In 2018 Fortescue Metals Group (FMG) have taken a keen interest in the area, pegging all available ground around SER’s Myall Creek project.
